Marina is a second-year Ph.D. student in the School of Engineering. She got her BSc degree from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2017. After Graduation, She worked as a Software Development Engineer at Mentor Graphics working on different Physical Verification software tools. In January 2019, She visited Brown as a Research Intern to work on Physical Synthesis as a part of the OpenROAD project for 6 months. Then she started her Ph.D. at Brown in September 2019. Marina is interested in edge intelligence and adaptive computing on the edge. Her research focuses on optimizing the neural networks for low-power wearable devices like smartwatches and smart glasses to meet the power, latency and memory constraints. Check her website here.
